In order to get
the information for our report, we carried out our interview in canteens,
restaurants, bus stops and NUS. As we are studying at NIE,
our interviews are mainly at the weekends.
From our findings,
we know most people always queue. This is a good result. Queuing
is a good manner and everyone should queue automatically. People don’t queue mostly because their friends are waiting for them. From this we know that they are aware of queuing, only because
they don’t want to waste their friends’ time, but
they should also consider others’ feelings. Half of our interviewees
think restraints and canteens have the most queue jumpers because
people are so hungry that they don’t want to wait at all. Through further investigation, we find that most people won’t
do anything when they come across a queue jumper. This will deepen some people’s misunderstanding of queuing.
Therefore, we should persuade them or try to force them to queue.
